Digital Literacy Classes-   These are the list of class topics available to choose from:

-          Digital Media Tips & Tricks

-          What The Tech?

  • This class is mainly Q&A style where patrons can ask whatever tech questions they may have. It has a short presentation & handouts focused on how to shop for and select devices that you won’t end up hating! I cover: tech jargon in advertising, navigating the retail world, finding reputable reviews (and spotting the fake ones), brands you may encounter and more.

-          Reading Online

  • Covers the various devices used to read digitally, their pros and cons, and the apps that are available for digital readers with a library card.

-          Basic Device Skills

  • The back to basics class that covers the essential skills a new device user needs to know. From texting to device settings, we do a walk through of how to personalize your device and use it with more confidence.
